Montessori Sandpaper Numbers are a great way to help your child get introduced to mathematical numerals. The sandpaper numbers are tactile, thereby encouraging children to touch, feel and experiment with it. It consists of 10 green board boards, each of which displays a number from 0-9. Children can be introduced to Sandpaper Numbers at three years of age and a teacher can invite the child to start working on this to help them get more familiar with numerals.
